"Feed Our Kids" Mission
The Deacons have a mission To Feed Our Kids thru Grace in Grapevine. This is a program they have had for 5 years. It is an opportunity to feed kids that ordinarily would not have a balanced lunch during the summer. We are booked to served lunch for 75 kids on the grounds at Grace July 28th-August 1st. We will need about 10 volunteers a day to make sandwiches, or grill hot dogs and pack a lunch for them. Additionally, we need to interact with them in song, reading, coloring and other activities. This will be a big part of their summer. It would be wonderful to have all age groups represented from our church to participate. Ronald McDonald House
July 31 will be our next opportunity to provide comfort and support in the form of a meal tho these families. It only takes a few hours to participate -- usually from 4 to 7 p.m. Contact Vicki Dudley 817-808-6206 for more information.
Summer of Service Begins June 8
Back by popular demand, Sunday School will have the looks of missions again this summer. Each Sunday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., families can come and participate together in mission projects. It is a great way of putting our faith into action and doing it across generational lines.
Calling All Cooks! Support SBPC Cookbook
Submit your favorite recipes to be a part of the upcoming SBPC COOKBOOK. It's easy!
1. Go online to WWW.TYPENSAVE.COM and click on the log-in-button.
2. Enter your name as you want it to appear in the cookbook.
3. Enter group login: SOUTHLAKE and Password: RECIPES
4. Click ADD RECIPE (on the left) and follow the form instructions to enter your recipe.
5. Wait in anticipation for your chance to buy a copy of the SBPC cookbook!
If you do not wish to enter your recipe by computer, simply write down your recipes and the needed information and drop it off at the church. We'll make sure your recipes are included!

Adult Mission Trip Planned

New Ministry Beautifies our Worship Center
The "banner" ministry unveiled their beautiful work at the front of the sanctuary, but their work continues. The group is meeting every Monday at 9 a.m. in the large classroom to help design and make new banners to enhance our Worship Center.
